Mogil is at it Again

“Blessed are they who see beautiful things in humble places where other people see nothing.” – Camille Pissarro

We see beauty in the act of providing service for those in need. We are proud to be back for third year in a row at The Bowery Mission. Being able to serve those in need is an extremely humbling experience and our employees are excited year after year to be part of the community.

Giving Back

Here at Mogil we continue to strive to give back to our community. So we thought what better way to start off 2017 then to help The Bowery Mission once again to help meet the ever increasing need of New York City homeless population.  It was a wonderful experience yet again to help serve dinner for our city homeless. We are honored to continue to participate in this much needed program.

The Bowery Mission

Helping out in the community is always a priority here at The Mogil Organization.  Recently we were fortunate enough to help serve dinner at The Bowery Mission.  In volunteering, we were able to learn about the services that Bowery Mission provides for the community in an effort to meet the ever-increasing needs of our city’s homeless population. We here at Mogil are grateful to have been a part of such a wonderful cause.

Toys for Tots

We here at the Mogil Organization not only care about our clients, but also giving back to the community tends to be priority for us. With that being said we’ve decided to donate toys for the Annual “Toys for Tots” drive at the Nazarene Congregational Church in Brooklyn, New York. This drive was headed by our Vice President of Commercial Lines, Ms. Sonya Horton. Here are just a few pictures from the event; the kids were all very excited and appreciative.

Thank you to all employees who have donated toys as well as Mrs. Horton for putting it all together.

Happy Holidays! 🙂

New York Cares Day Fall 2014

As you know the Mogil Organization loves to give back to the community. We here at the Mogil Organization volunteered for the New York Cares Day Event this past Saturday. We chose a local Elementary School (P.S. 256) in Brooklyn. It was a great success! Take a look at our photos…

Thank you once again to our friends over at New York Cares! 🙂

At The Mogil Organization, we take pride in our community. Whether it be through giving, fundraising or volunteering, our company and employees strive to make a difference and enrich the lives of those around us.

Past Events

New York Cares Day Fall 2013

On Saturday, October 19th, a group of Mogil employees and friends participated in New York Cares Day Fall, a city-wide volunteer day dedicated to the revitalization of city public schools.

Our team spent the day at JHS 125 Henry Hudson School in the Bronx. Together, we painted inspiring pictures and quotes on hallway walls, re-painted doors and organized a storage closet.

We were honored to be a part of this event and take pride in helping our neighbors. We look forward to our next New York Cares opportunity! See our full photo gallery here

She’s the First

On June 30th, 2013, our Human Resources Manager Madeline Placencia took part in a three-mile run for the She’s the First Run the World Campaign. Currently, there are a staggering 39 million girls between the ages of 11 and 15 out of school around the world, and this organization strives to help these girls be the first in their families to graduate high school.

Madeline and her team raised $809 for this wonderful cause. Congratulations Madeline, and thanks to everyone for their support!

New York Cares Day Spring 2013

On Saturday, April 20th 2013, a group of Mogil employees and friends participated in New York Cares Day Spring, a city-wide volunteer event dedicated largely to outdoor beautification projects. Our team was located at Tranquility Farm in the Bed-Stuy neighborhood of Brooklyn, where we built planter beds, waterproofed a gazebo, and weeded a garden. Per our New York Cares Site Captain, Cara:

“Together, you waterproofed the gazebo, 2 potting tables, and multiple planters, built 6 raised flower beds, did some amazing weeding, and left the garden and farm looking great for Spring! We had many neighbors come by and say how fantastic the the garden looked thanks to your efforts.”

We were thrilled to participate in this event and send special thanks to New York Cares and Tranquility Farm. We look forward to servicing our community again in the near future.
